My family and I are trying to find more information about AsaS.Drake and his beginnings in Fortuna in 1836. From what we know he came and bought an unknown(to me) amount of land . He and his wife Sarah Smith Drake raised a family

Susan Matilda 5/10/1837, Nancy Jane 6/28/1838, John Conel 8/21/1839, Mary Ann,12/8/1841, Amanda Catherine 7/10/1844, Peter Sousley 11/3/1845, Abraham Murphy 3/4/1846, Alford Sousley 10/20/1847, William Henry 3/24/1852, Sarah Francis 7/20/1854 Adam Steward 3/26/1856 Parents to Asa S. Drake are John Drake and Nancy Conel Drake
We do not have a DOB for parents of Asa.. I currently reside in Independence with my wife Sage. My father, James Leroy Drake and his siblings (most of them) reside in Fortuna, near to my Grandparents Vent Thomas Drake Sr. and Isa May Drake. My Great Grandmother, Dora Mummert also lives with them. If you should come across any Info on the Drakes I would greatly appreciate any new info You could share. Thanks again in advance, James C. I am searching for my grandfather's parents, HENRY THOMAS COFFEY, b. 1845, NC. He married MARTHA ELLEN PHILLIPS, 1865, Moniteau Co. His parents probably would have been born between 1825 - 1835.

William and Mary Hanna moved to Moniteau, CO abt. 1824 with son Calvin B. Hanna. While in High Point had Elizabeth b. 1823, Jane b. 1825, John, b. 1825, Mary Ann b. 1826, James G. b. 1830, Martha Ann b. 1832, Juliet b. 1836, William Kelly (born in Jefferson City) b. 1838, Robert b. 1841. They came on the Oregon Trail in 1843. Apparently, Elizabeth, Jane, Mary Ann remained in MO.

I would like any info. i can get on JOSEPH WOODS/ HANNAH 'KITTY' (CHRISTIAN) WOODS around 1840-1850 in the Moreau Creek area. Hannah died around Sept 1848 would like to know where she is buried. will share woods info. also thanks
