DUNAWAY -- Ellis Johnson DUNAWAY, my great grandfather had 2 marriages and both were in Moniteau County. He also returned there as a minister and died Oct 21, 1912 in Pilot Grove, MO. The doctor was L.L. LATHAM, Place of Burial was Latham, MO. The undertaker was E.C. Neschwitz of California MO. THURMAN; HILL -- I just found the probate of the Estate of John HILL of Moniteau Co. Mo. It list Cyanthia HILL who married Daniel THURMAN as an heir. JOHNSON; MURPHY -- I am trying to find who the parents of Major William JOHNSON are. His father was John JOHNSON of Virginia. He was born October 12, 1831 in Manitau, Missouri according to information I have. He and his parents moved when he was 14. I believe he is a distant relative. He was married to Ruth Shelton MURPHY. Major William JOHNSON donated a cemetery in Lucerne MO [Ed. note - Lucerne is in Putnam County, MO] that no man ever pay. I know very little on this line. Any information would be appreciated. HILL; BOLIN; BURGER; HESTAND -- Would like to get in touch with anyone researching the family of Willoughby HILL. He is on the l850 Moniteau Co., Mo. census living with the family of Ada BOLIN. He married Nancy HESTAND, also of Moniteau Co. in the early l850's. They are on the l860 & l870 Moniteau Co. census, but I believe she dies sometime before l880 & he moves to Camden Co. sometime after. His sister, Rufinda, married Jacob BURGER, also of Moniteau Co.
