GRAHAM; Moniteau County, MO, USA 1855-1900's. Searching to share information/find descendants of George GRAHAM, Jr. He was born 20 DEC 1829, in Cumberland, England to George GRAHAM and Barbara MILBURN. They came to Centre County, PA, in 1832; then on to Prairie City, Jasper County, IA, after 1850. George married Mary Jane (?) in PA, probably about 1849 . They had four children: William GRAHAM b. abt 1850; Margaret b. 28 FEB 1854/5; Ida b. abt 1859; and Georgia May GRAHAM b. abt 1862/7. Mary Jane died 20 APR 1867, age 37 of pueperal fever, in Warrensburg, Johnson, MO. George GRAHAM, Jr. married Martha J. HALE, 14 MAR 1877, in Moniteau Co., MO. I believe they had 2 sons - David Bowman GRAHAM, b. 1878 (still living in Moniteau Co. in 1905) and Arthur Grant GRAHAM b. 1879/1890, who went to Cuba or Alaska as an adult. Martha J. HALE died 11 MAY 1890, at High Point, Moniteau Co., MO. George Graham, Jr. married Rosanna SHORT, daughter of Newton SHORT and Nancy Jane MCCOMB, 25 FEB 1894, at High Point, MoniteauCo. MO. She was born 18 MAR 1865, in Tuscumbia, Miller, MO. George and Rosa had two sons - James Steven GRAHAM b. 10 JAN 1895 and Fred McKinley GRAHAM b. 24 JUL 1896, both at High Point. The family was in Payette, Canyon Co. , ID by 1900. George GRAHAM, Jr. died there 17 SEP 1901. I am the daughter of Fred McKinley GRAHAM, please contact me to share information about this family.

My grandmother, Velma Virginia COLEMAN, was born in Jamestown, Moniteau Co. MO, in 1904. She married Otto VIETH of Speed, MO, later divorced him and moved to Washington State, where she re-married and died. Her parents were Charles Fordyce COLEMAN (born in 1880 in Jamestown) and Minnie TEMPLETON, who was born in Olean in Miller County, MO. The parents of Charles COLEMAN were William COLEMAN and Sarah ADAMS. They were married in Sandy Hook, Moniteau County, in 1877.
I would be delighted to share my information with others and am anxious to see if others are researching my lines.

James migrated from TN with brothers William M.-b. 1804 SC and Samuel ANDERSON, b.@1800 SC-d. 1865 Stone Co., MO, these two brothers settled in Stone Co., MO. Another brother, Moses G. ANDERSON b.1790-1800 settled in Texas Their father, Noble ANDERSON b. 1767 PA m.
