GOOD- I am looking for information on EMANUEL GOOD, his wife ELIZABETH, and children. EMANUEL GOOD supposedly died in Moniteau Co. abt 1852 and was buried in Copp's Chapel Cemetery. I need any and all info I can get on Emanuel Good and his children. Thank you, Robin

I am hoping to find more information about my dbl great grandparents & their children. Here's what little I have & I hope someone can help me. James Samuel JOHNSON m. Nancy WORTHY no dates or places are known Children: James Jefferson JOHNSON b. 9 Mar. 1865 Tipton, Moniteau Co.,Mo. d. 13 Feb. 1943 Chelsea, Okla. bur. 14 Feb. 1943 Chelsea Cemetery m. Martha Jane Phariss; William Ballard JOHNSON b. 18 Oct. 1870 Illinois? d. 15 July July 1957 unknown where. I don't know if these are all the children. Maybe if someone could tell me the name of the newspaper that was around in the early to mid-1800's I would like to see \par about getting wedding/marriage announcements & census records.

BOLIN, Charley Ebenezer born abt. 1864 in Illinois, or his wife, Louisa Sansbury. My grandmother was Grace Mae Bolin, and I can't seem to get past knowing her \par parents' names. Any help you have would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

I am researching the ETTER family of Moniteau County, in particular the family of John Etter and Nancy (Walker) Etter. John Etter was a Justice of the Peace in the county. Their children were: Sarah F., Agnes Jane, Nancy M., Louisa R., Mary E., James G., Susan A., William S., Sophronai, Lenorah, Minerva, Lydia, John H. John Etter was born 1 Dec 1814 in Tennesse and died in Moniteau County 15 Jun 1868 south of High Point. Nancy Etter was born in Smith County, TN 4 May 1819 and died in Moniteau County 15 Mar 1893.

Looking for any information on the descendants of Richard T. W. Farris and Agness Ann Elizabeth (Walker) Farris. They were married in Moniteau County 30 Jul 1853 and lived in the County for a time before moving to Pettis County, MO. Richard's father was Silas B. Farris. They had at least 5 children: Bird, William, Maggie J., Robert and Eliza. Richard fought in the Confederate Army amd died sometime around 1892 (probably in Pettis County).

I'm looking for any descendants of Thomas PHILLIPS and Mary Frances (WALKER) Phillips. They were married in Miller County, MO and may have lived in Moniteau County for part of their married lives. They supposedly went to California. Frances or "Frankie" was born about 1841 in what was then Cole County, now Moniteau County. She is said to have died sometime around 1924, but I am unsure of this. Her father and mother were Bird B. Walker and Louisa (Taylor) Walker.

I am researching Doctor Alexander Apperson married to Mary Ruth (Polly) Mitchell family.Doctor and Polly and their son Mansfield Apperson are buried in Old City Cemetary there in California. Mansfield was married to Elizabeth M. Allen on 11/17/1842 in Cole Cty. Elizabeth died in Moniteau Cty in 1856. Mansfield's son; John Alexander Apperson married Mary Lucinda Brown in Moniteau Cty on 9/26/1875. Any information will be appreciated. RT

HARVEY - info needed on the 8 children born to Joseph W. HARVEY (1822-1903). I have their names and some dates, but not complete. Joseph had these children in Moniteau County, and was married there, to Sarah Ann HILL; b. there in 1829. Joseph's father; Martin, b. 1792 in Surry Co. NC.

I am researching the CASTOE and COOTSfamilies and all their connections. I know that Uriah Coots lived for a long time in Moniteau Co. with his family.Some of the other family connecting names are: BURGER, BURKS, MCGEE, BRYANT, GOINS, NEWBERRY, RUSSELL, ROBBINS, SINNESS, Any and all help on these lines would be appreciated. I also know that the COOTS were friends with the BIRDSONG family. There is a Cherokee connection with all these lines. Some of the children of Uriah and Susannah Bryant COOTS are: Jemima Coots MCGEE, Nancy, Lucinda, Issac, Mary, Elvina, Sarah.

Harrison CAMPBELL's parents were Harrison (or Henry) CAMPBELL and Mary Ann CALLIN. Catherine HOOT's parents were Nathaniel HOOT and Margaret FRY. Sibling's names were Walter Vernon, Mary Cornelia, Ella Viola, Frances Rebman, Cyrus Clyde, Delbert Earl, and Ernest Harold. Any help appreciated.
