The Historical
Society is OPEN every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1-5
p.m. during April through October.
Fees and conditions of searches
Send $15.00 and SASE with an initial letter. This covers a search of the common sources located in the Historical Society Library and copies if they are not excessive. Otherwise, copies are $0.25 each. The library can now make copies of microfilm records. The cost of microfilm copies is $1.00 each.
For more extensive research (such as searching records at the courthouse or newspaper office): Send initial letter with SASE and an estimate of time will be made. The charge for an extensive search is $10.00 per hour with three hours paid in advance. The copies are the same as above.
