Rehagen Heating and Cooling

(Est. before 1957 as Henry Grebel Sheet Metal)

(Became Twin City by 1957)

From the 2000 History of Moniteau County:

Twin City Company originally started out in the downtown area of California, Missouri. The original name was Henry Grebel Sheet Metal. Several years later, the business moved from the downtown area to the uptown area and the name was changed to Twin City Hardware. In 1957, H. W. and Betty Schmidt changed the name to Twin City Company, dropping the hardware portion of the business and relocated the business to the current [2000] location on Highway 50 West. The company then became a dealer for Lennox Air Conditioners and Furnaces.

In June 1966, William and Helen Miler and William F and Toni Pace purchased the Twin City Company from H. W. and Betty Schmidt. In October 1966, the warehouse burnt. In 1974, Twin City Company underwent another ownership when William F. and Toni Pace bought out the Miller's half of the business. In 1997, William F. Pace incorporated the business changing the name to Twin City Company, Inc. Twin City Company, Inc. is still a certified Lennox dealer for Lennox Air Conditioners and Furnaces and also specializes in plumbing and electrical work.
