David Chambers Cemetery listings

The David Chambers cemetery is located north-northwest of the town of Elston in Cole County, Missouri.  The stones are standing and laying under a small group of cedar trees. The Cole County cemetery book published in the 1930's (and www.findagrave.com) lists this cemetery as the Elias Chambers Cemetery, son of this David Chambers. The oldest stone that still exists here is of David Chambers.

James Albin and Alan Sparks visited this cemetery April 1, 2010 when the pictures were taken.

Directions to cemetery: From Elston, go west on Old Stage Road approx. 3/10s of a mile, turn north on High Point Road and travel approx. 1.32 miles until coming to a fence line on the west side of the road. The cemetery will be in the field near the top of the hill -- a short distance out from the fence line. This cemetery is difficult to find without someone pointing it out - as always, please ask to enter private property.
